# Risk and Safety

#### Risk and Safety

Baola provides users with market quotes, social information, on-chain data and trading tools. On-chain asset trading involves risks including price volatility, liquidity risks, smart contract vulnerabilities and information distortion. Please fully understand the relevant mechanisms before participating and make decisions based on your own risk tolerance.

#### Market and Liquidity Risk

On-chain assets, especially meme coins and newly issued tokens, may experience significant price fluctuations within a short period. When market liquidity is insufficient, trades may face substantial slippage, fail to be executed in a timely manner, or cannot be sold. In extreme cases, you may lose all your invested capital.

#### Token and Smart Contract Risks

Any token may carry risks including contract vulnerabilities, malicious permissions, unauthorized additional issuance, selling restrictions, or liquidity withdrawal. The token detection results and risk indicators displayed on the platform are for reference only, do not cover all potential issues, and do not constitute a guarantee of the token's security or the project's credibility.

#### Information and Data Risks

KOL opinions, call-to-trade content and other third-party information may be biased, conflicted with interests or misleading. Historical transactions and earnings performance of relevant addresses do not represent future results. Affected by factors such as network conditions, data sources and parsing methods, market quotes, positions, profit and loss, and transaction records may also have delays, omissions or errors. Please make independent judgments based on information from multiple sources and avoid trading solely based on a single signal.

#### Transaction and Cyber Risk

On-chain congestion, network anomalies, transaction routing issues, or third-party service failures may result in transaction delays, failures, or discrepancies between the actual execution price and the expected price. Network fees may still apply even if a transaction fails. On-chain transactions are generally irreversible once confirmed, so please verify the network, token contract address, transaction amount, and slippage settings before submitting.

#### Wallet and Account Security

Please properly store your mnemonic phrase, private key and account verification information. Never disclose them to others or enter them on untrusted websites. Before connecting your wallet or signing transactions, please verify the domain name you are accessing and the authorization details, stay alert to phishing links, fake customer service and malicious authorizations, and regularly review and revoke contract authorizations that are no longer in use.

#### User Autonomous Decision-Making

The market quotes, rankings, KOL updates and analysis information presented by Baola are for informational reference only and do not constitute investment advice, return promises, or recommendations and guarantees for any assets. Please only trade with funds you can afford to lose and carefully assess the risks of each transaction.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://docs.bao.la/baola-docs/baola-product-documentation/more/risk-and-safety.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
